Hey there my name is Tajus Young. Yes you may have seen my horrible videos from YouTube. On this website, I talk about my opinion on anything movies, TV, and gaming related.
Synopsis: The beloved post-apocalyptic action franchise is back with Mad Max: Fury Road. This time there is a new actor and a bunch of new characters. Mad Max and Furiosa team up to find Furiosa childhood homeland. Meanwhile, Immortan Joe and his army of chaos chase after them.
Starring: Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicolas Hoult, and Hugh Keays-Byrne.
Directed and written by George Miller.
Mad Max: Fury Road may be one of my favorite movies of all time. The entire almost two hours kept me on the edge of my seat. Every decade or so we get an action movie that people will think about for a long time. It might be one of their favorite action movies of all time like this movie is mine. This movie is the biggest action achievement since Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Aliens, Die Hard, T2: Judgement Day, Speed, The Matrix, Gladiator, and The Dark Knight. The special effects were absolutely amazing in this movie. The character Furiosa was bad***. I want a spinoff movie for her character. I also loved the villain of this movie who is Immortan Joe. He is a combination of Darth Vader and Sauron. Have you ever heard of the phrase your villain is as good as your movie? Well no wonder this movie was so good. I also loved the action scenes of this movie. The car chase scenes in the desert were amazing. There was no use of shaky camera at all. The explosions were well done. One thing that did surprise me was that there was humanity in the characters. Almost nobody had completely lost their minds in this movie. Tom Hardy played a decent Mad Max. I think that Heath Ledger would of probably played a better Mad Max but unfortunately he had passed away. George Miller even said that Heath Ledger would of played Mad Max if he was still alive. I did like all the characters of this movie except a couple of them. The wives of Immortan Joe was the biggest problem I had with this movie. Sure they were nice to look at but some of them didn't feel necessary. Although a few of them were important to the story but the rest did not feel important. The wives also felt kind of out of place. I mean they wore makeup and dresses while everyone else was dirty and sweaty. In summary Mad Max: Fury Road is now one of my favorite movies of all time. I like Mad Max 2 and Fury Road the same actually.
Grade: A

Before you continue to read this blog, there are huge SPOILERS of Avengers: Age of Ultron. You have been warned !
The Avengers: Age of Ultron was the best movie of the year so far. I seen this movie over three times. It was great way to start out May. The movie was so awesome that had to create a blog on my 10 most favorite moments from this movie.
10. Stan Lee Cameo
In the party scene where Ultron first appears like in the trailers, Stan Lee plays an old military veteran. As Thor is pouring himself a drink, Stan Lee as the military veteran asks for a sip of Thor's drink. Thor replies that the drink is not made for man. The military veteran then replies neither was the Omaha Beach landing. Thor pours the veteran a drink and Stan Lee's character replies “Excelsior!” which is his own catchphrase. This is probably my favorite Stan Lee Cameo so far.
9. The Avengers Verses Hydra
The first scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron starts out with the Avengers fighting Hydra in eastern Europe. This scene is awesome because it shows all the Avengers together just in the first scene. The best part of the scene is when the Avengers actually jump into action as soon in the picture above.
8. Thanos Mid Credits Scene
In the middle of the end credits, we get treated to another Thanos scene. In this scene, Thanos is on screen to obtain the Infinity Gauntlet. He mumbles "Fine, I'll do it myself" since his servants have failed to gather the infinity stones for him. This scene is anticipation for the upcoming Infinity War movies. This scene is my favorite scene with Thanos so far.
7. Ulysses Klaue Scene In this scene, the great Andy Serkis is introduced as Ulysses Klaue. Ulysses Klaue is an arms dealer and the next villain in the upcoming Black Panther film. Andy Serkis is excellent as the role of Klaue. Ultron also cuts Klaue's arm off in this scene by the way. Here's a fact. In every Marvel movie in Phase 2 of the Marvel cinematic universe, a person gets their arm cut off as a tribute to Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back where Luke Skywalker get his arm cut off because of Darth Vader. I know that for a fact I'm excited to see Serkis as the villian in Black Panther.
6. Ultron's First Form After Ultron in digital form destroys Jarvis, Ultron awakens in a new robotic body. In the party scene where Cap, Stark, Hulk, and Hawkeye are trying to lift Thor's hammer like in the trailers, Ultron comes out in his first form and tells the Avengers that they are all not worthy. Then he and hundreds of himselve attack the Avengers. This is a cool scene to introduce Ultron in his first form.
5. Banner's and Romanoff's Chemistry
In the third act, Banner and Romanoff make out. Now a lot of comic fans are saying that there was no romance between the two but I think that Bruce Banner deserves to be happy. He needs something in his life. He lives a depressing life. I mean he has to watch his anger to he doesn't turn into the Hulk. I think the romance was necessary for the Hulk in this movie.
4. The Hallucinations Scenes
The hallucinations gives the Avengers visions of the past and future. Thor goes to Asgard and he finds out about the upcoming Ragnarok, Captain America dances with Peggy Carter, Black Widow was an assassin, and Tony Stark see Cap's death which foreshadows what will happen in Captain America: Civil War. The hallucinations are dark and they show how good Joss Whedon is as a director.
3. Vision Picks Up Thor's Hammer The most shocking scene in the whole entire movie is when Vision picks up Thor's hammer. After he is created, Vision sees Thor's hammers, picks it up, and gives it to him. This scene made my mouth drop. My heart started boiling right after that scene. My eyes and mouth were wide opened during that moment.
2. Ultron's Army Verses Avengers This moment had me filled with excitement. It was millions of Ultrons against the Avengers. This moment was just so cinematic. This final battle scene may even better than the last battle scene from the first Avengers where they are fighting the Chitauri. I do have one flaw with this battle scene. I think that Ultron's plan to lift a city and have it come down like a meteor to destroy the Earth is just stupid. Who comes up with a plan that complicated. The final battle scene was still action-packed popcorn fun.
1. Hulk Verses Hulkbuster
Yes this my favorite moment out of the whole movie. The HULKBUSTER ARMOUR ! Once I saw the Hulkbuster armour in the trailers I absolutely could not wait to see this movie. I had as much fun as a kid at a candy store seeing this epic scene. This scene is one of my favorite Marvel movie scenes of all time.
Here's a clip to enjoy this awesome scene.
In summary, the Avengers: Age of Ultron was an awesome movie. Although I do have few more problems with this movie than the first Avengers, I still think this movie is better than the first. The movie had great sound, acting, chemistry, special effects, and tons of more awesome stuff. The movie will no doubt make the top 10 highest grossing movies of 2015. I can't wait to do my spoiler opinions on Mad Max: Fury Road after May 15. Stay tune for that. For more updates, you can subscribe to me on YouTube, follow me on Twitter, and like me on Facebook.
